Weekend Menu Challenge – 3

Since this weekend has Easter Sunday in it I will give you some advice. To be quite honest I will eat the salad that has a little sugar in it, I have crossovers on holidays and I do enjoy over indulging in most of my favorite foods.

BUT…

What I steer clear from is candy and all dessert because they are made mostly of sugar. I don’t want to detox the next day. I don’t want to shove all that into my body because I know I will regret that choice the most the next day. Instead, I bring my own THM dessert and fill up on the protein (prime rib, ham, turkey) that is readily available.

None! I stuck to the recipes in both the original THM book and their new THM cookbook with the exception of my protein smoothie below.

If you get tired of my smoothie, I just haven’t for some reason yet, they have many Fuel Pull smoothie recipes in both books, for example: The Big Boy smoothie which is made with strawberries and their Pristine Whey Protein Powder.

My Chocolate Protein Smoothie.

Put the following ingredients into a blender:
1 cup Cashew Milk
2 Tbs. Natural Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
4 packets Truvia
1 squirt Skinny Girl Liquid Stevia
1 tsp. Caramel or Vanilla Extract
1 scoop THM Pristine Whey Protein Powder
6 cubes of ice or more depending on how thick you like your smoothies.
