THMBOOK

Between these two books I have recipes to last a life time! If you want to build your own weekend menu simple open up these pages and explore! Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be either E or S but I keep my snacks between lunch and dinner a fuel pull 🙂 That is how I begin to build a menu.

And you will need this:

My Chocolate Protein Smoothie.

Put the following ingredients into a blender:
1 cup Cashew Milk
2 Tbs. Natural Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
4 packets Truvia
1 squirt Skinny Girl Liquid Stevia

As always I wish you all the best of luck! Stick to it and you will be glad you did. Weekend are tough because they are sporadic and your schedule is one of chaos but that’s okay. THM was developed for us busy mamas! Planning a head is the best thing you can do to stay on plan and on track with THM!

Weekend Menu Challenge – 7

I am a very busy girl this weekend! I have a garage sale I am currently advertising and have already had some questions and comments on the items my husband and I are selling. I have a feeling it will be busy. So, this weekend menu will reflect simple, filling and easy. I don’t think I’ll hear any complaints 😉

It’s so easy in fact that you don’t need a THM recipe book or pinterest to follow. Yes that is completely possible!

Links you will need to complete the menu:

None! As explained above this is one of the easiest menus I have written.

To add flavor to my canned green beans I usually add a wedge of Laughing Cow light with salt, pepper and powdered garlic. I love my green beans this way!

To make the green bean french fries you must have them fresh or frozen whole. I put them in a zip lock bag, pour some olive oil over them, dump spices (any that sound good) over them and mix. Put parchment paper over the baking sheet and spread the green beans out. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top and bake them at 400 until brown on the edges. When they come out squeeze a lemon over them and whala! Amazing!

Opps I guess I lied. You will need one recipe from the book to make the Greek yogurt pudding 😉 Its very simple though!

If you do click here you get the recipe to the GGMS! Not a must but its a truly magnificent drink that could change your life! No joke!

Links you will need to complete this weekends challenge:

None again! I am simply sticking to the original book this time around. It really does make things simpler and I honestly use this often. Its easy to get caught up in Pinterest and all the recipes on there but when first starting out stick to the book till you fully grasp and understand what makes the E, S and FP meals.

I have listed again my  protein smoothie but feel free to add some on plan peanut butter flour for a more candy bar taste. There are lots of other smoothie fuel pull options available in the THM book as well 🙂

My Chocolate Protein Smoothie.

Put the following ingredients into a blender:
1 cup Cashew Milk
2 Tbs. Natural Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
4 packets Truvia
1 squirt Skinny Girl Liquid Stevia
1 tsp. Caramel or Vanilla Extract
1 scoop THM Pristine Whey Protein Powder
6 cubes of ice or more depending on how thick you like your smoothies.

I forgot to post some desserts after the S meals. Feel free to browse the THM book for some ideas! Sometimes I add a little dessert after my S lunches if it wasn’t very big but I always have a little something after my S dinners 😉

I wish you the best of luck on this weekend challenge! It can be done just plan a head, get all your ingredients and stick to the plan!

I am sticking to the recipes found in these two lovely books…

THMBOOK

You may or may not need the GGMS recipe. If you do click here! Its a truly magnificent drink that could change your life! No joke!

One other thing I should mention. I usually make a THM dessert before heading into the weekend. For the menu below I will be using the Basic Cheesecake recipe in the original THM book page 373. I add sweetened strawberries as a topper and it is amazing!

Remember how badly you want to stay on track. Prove to yourself you can enjoy the weekends without regret. I know life gets busy and sometimes we just cant control it but give it the best you’ve got!
